G/P locum required - Watson Lake

Locum physician required for private practice. CCFP required.

One Clinic: 3 full-time physicians and 1 part-time physician (clinic owned by one of the physicians). Each physician sees 25-30 patients per day. Hospital work required for any patients admitted and on-call rotation. On-call rotation is one week in three for 7 days (24 hour call). Fee for on-call service is $464 per day, plus call back fee, examination fee and procedure fees. Emergency work required. Our clinic has scheduled appointments as well as approximately 10 walk in patients per day. In summer months due to location, a significant number of tourists walk in which requires merging into the daily schedule. Office hours - 9:00am to 4:30pm, physicians’ booking - 9:00am to 4:30pm, 5 days per week.

Payment split: 55/45. Long term locum split: 60/40

This opportunity could result in a permanent position

Details of accommodation: Private home (4500 sq. feet), Satellite T.V., all furniture and fixtures for daily living included. Two storey home that would be shared with other part time visiting locum.
